Setareh is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Her journey through academia has been led by a deep passion for health and wellness, which she continues to pursue as she transitions into the workforce.
Setareh's love for physical activity extends beyond her academic pursuits. In her free time she likes to practice yoga, finding solace and strength on the mat. When she's not on her mat, she is at the gym or spending time learning from various non-fiction novels, where she nurtures her curiosity and desire for new knowledge. Her affinity for nature is another important aspect of her life. Picnicking, camping, and going on hikes with good friends makes Setareh feel most at home in the great outdoors.
Although Setareh initially set her sights on a career in Physical Therapy, her journey took a turn during the fall of 2022 when she joined InHealthRVA as an intern. Her experience here ignited her passion for a different facet of healthcare - functional medicine and holistic health. She believes in a profound connection between the mind, body, and spirit and how they collectively contribute to one's well-being.
Currently, Setareh has decided to take some time off from her academic pursuits. Her decision reflects her desire to gain hands-on experience in various fields, allowing her to explore her options and make an informed decision about her future career path. This time away from school serves as an opportunity for her to travel, broaden her horizons, and deepen her understanding of holistic health from different perspectives.
